Privacy Policy

The protection of your personal data is a central concern for us as a technology association. Below we inform you in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Austrian Data Protection Act (DSG), and the Telecommunications Act (TKG 2021).

1. Controller

2. Collection and processing

  • Server log files: On each access, the browser, operating system, and IP address are automatically recorded. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR. Storage period: usually 7 to 14 days.
  • Contact & NDA process: Your details are processed to handle the inquiry and, where applicable, to prepare an NDA. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1)(b) or (f) GDPR.
  • Association membership: Master, contact, and, where applicable, bank data. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1)(b) GDPR. Storage until withdrawal plus statutory periods (generally 7 years pursuant to § 132 BAO).

3. Cookies and analysis tools

  • Technically necessary cookies: Required for secure operation (session, cookie consent storage). Legal basis: § 165 (3) TKG 2021.
  • Google Analytics 4 (via Google Tag Manager): Only with your consent. Pseudonymised usage data is transmitted to Google LLC (USA) on the basis of the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 46 (2)(c) GDPR). Legal basis: Art. 6 (1)(a) GDPR. Withdrawal possible at any time via the cookie banner.

Note (internal, to be clarified before finalisation): If Google Analytics is deactivated, this paragraph no longer applies.

4. Hosting

This website is hosted by WebSupport s.r.o. (Slovak Republic). A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place. The servers are located within the European Union.

5. Your rights

You have the rights to access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20), and objection (Art. 21 GDPR).
